You're telling me I can't spend money that doesn't belong me? Preposterous, I say!

I blame the Monopoly board game for making people think that 'bank error in your favor!' is money that you can actually spend without repercussions.

Well, you can, but then you must immediately go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass GO, do not collect $200.

1) I don't think that a senior citizen should have to wait decades for some lowlife to pay him back money when it was the bank's mistake. Let the bank pay the victim back and the lameass profligate jerkweed can pay the bank back. 2) I am definitely getting old, because I am not even ironically amused at the description "hero teen". Fuck that kid.

A smart kid would have bought cocaine and sold it, paying the $30K back to the bank and still have $20 to $30K left over for himself.

My 17 year old self would have been on a plane to Belize if I mistakenly ended up with $30K in cash. Dumbass kid should have left the country.

What the fuck is wrong with that kid's mother? "He was excited, i would have been too, the bank teller should have looked over her work to catch the mistake better." No wonder the kid spent the money, he was raised by garbage.

God. The best part about the article is they interviewed, "The person he refers to has his mother." How hick is that? Also, she defended him, saying how excited he was when he saw the amount and how she would have been excited too. WHO THINKS LIKE THAT? You don't get excited. You call the bank. It's like his family supported this fraud.
